DESCRIPTION:Webinar Description: Peter will share his experiences of two decades of talking with farmers about climate change and provide an update of developments relevant to the southern red meat industry from three recently released reports: the National Climate Change Risk Assessment\, the National Adaptation Plan and the Agriculture and Land Use sector plan. \nRegistration: Click here to register for the webinar. \n \nWebinar Presenter: Peter Hayman leads SARDI Climate Applications which links the advances in climate science to primary industries in southern Australia. He started his career as an agricultural extension officer and moved into applied research. He has worked to maintain a two-way communication between farmers and science. He was a contributing author to the IPCC Australasian chapter in the sixth assessment report.  He is on the national team of the GRDC RiskWi$e project. He is an affiliate Associate Professor at the University of Adelaide and the Deputy Director of the SA Drought Hub. \n  \n  \n  \n
