Regional Chair – Johnny Gardner
Johnny is the Managing Director of South Mokanger, a property in Southwest Victoria. The farm is 1800ha and runs 7,000 self-replacing composite breeding ewes and 400 Cows. The property has three full time staff, which is a key focus to develop their capacity as well-rounded people.
Previous industry roles that Johnny has completed include the Australian Rural Leadership Program through Sheep Producers Australia, past steering committee member of the sheep sustainability framework and completed a Nuffield scholarship on Reducing emissions in the Australian Lamb Industry.
